DNA-based storage is an emerging technology that’s benefiting consumers by storing data in extraordinary small volume. CATALOG has developed automated processes to encode data into DNA by ligating collections of small snippets of predefined DNA into a longer DNA molecule. This presentation will describe how CATALOG has used the IBM® Bayesian Optimization Accelerator to optimize the ligation process in a way that significantly reduces data encoding costs.
